It is late and I have worked a long day. To sit and write something meaningful about how I was cared for with A Hat/Scarf Party, a meal schedule that was filled for 6 months straight, or sent handwritten notes by people I had never met {SPOILER ALERT!}, would not do it proper justice.
So for today, I want to remind you that if you are of the appropriate age, please, please schedule that mammogram that you have been meaning to have. Then when you get that “all clear”, let the Pink Warrior in your life know that you have taken care of yourself. Trust me, it means a lot.
