The college kids have been home for weeks, the amazing grads have all been thoroughly celebrated, and the private school crowd has joined the summer fun. Meanwhile, our poor public school kids are still trudging through — but hang in there, you’re so close! Just one more day, and then you, too, can sleep past noon and forget what day it is. You’ve got this!
Speaking of college kids … I am so honored to introduce Kate, our summer intern who is working alongside Francine to get the word out about all the wonderful opportunities that Pinked has to support those navigating a breast cancer diagnosis. Kate is entering her senior year at St Mary’s College of Maryland where she is majoring in Business Administration with a minor in Art. She is gal of MANY talents — singer in a rock band, Division 3 swimmer, server at one of Annapolis’s most iconic seafood spots, and one of my personal favorites, social media whiz! Welcome to our small but mighty team, Kate! ~ Kara
